ABOUT DART PHYSIO
Dart Physio specialises in providing neurological physiotherapy and facial therapy for individuals in the comfort of their own homes or other suitable community settings. I am dedicated to delivering personalised assessment and effective evidenced based treatment to improve the well-being of my clients. I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of my clients.
I qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2002. I starting work in the NHS getting a broad range of experience all the different areas of Physiotherapy rehabilitation. I soon realised that it was the area of Neurology that I was most interested in, so I then specialised as a Neuro Physiotherapist, working in Neuro outpatients, the community, inpatient Neuro units and then as Physio Team Lead of the Neuro Rehab Unit in Plymouth. Alongside this, I became interested in the area of facial weakness and became a trained member of Facial Therapy Specialists International, treating NHS patients across the South West region.
I still do some NHS work alongside my private work, which means I am aware of what NHS services may be available to you.
I am committed to continuously keeping up to date with advances in knowledge and treatment. I am a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN) and Registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
